Marion Kittrell Ginn, Jr.

Mr. Marion Kittrell Ginn, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at his home in Starkville, MS. Kitt was born November 14, 1942, in Lexington, MS. He was a graduate of Lexington High School, Delta State University, and received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Mississippi State University. He was a retired chemist with the State of Mississippi Chemical Lab at Mississippi State. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion K. “Bubber” Ginn, Sr. and Hilda Herring Ginn; and two brothers, Bill Ginn and Larry Ginn. He is survived by his wife, Bettye Knight Ginn of Starkville; three daughters, Paige G. Brown of Starkville, Dawn G. Jenkins of Batesville, MS, and Keathley (Burton) Lawson of Mayo, FL; four grandchildren, Emily McGarrity, Mari Hunter Brown, Molli Brown, and Trey Lawson; and one great grandchild, Harper McGarrity. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 30th, at Oddfellows Cemetery in Lexington, MS, with Rev. Tom Waggoner officiating.
