Virginia Willard Waldron, age 93, entered into the joy of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 31. Virginia Waldron was a native of Lake Wales, FL and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Louisville. She was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, a Women’s Bible Study leader, and a cherished and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who daily lived out her faith in service to others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Esther Willard, her husband, Edward C. Waldron, Sr., her brother, Harry Caldwell Willard, and a great granddaughter, Mary Elise Slater. She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Reese, and Kathy Goudelock (George), both of South Carolina, and by her two sons, Charles Waldron (Dianne) of St. Louis, MO and Ed Waldron (Linda) of Louisville. She is also survived by her niece Cary Brown (Bruce) of Virginia, and by 12 grandchildren and by 28 great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their special thanks to Dr. Sam Suttle, to her church family, and to those who tenderly cared for her during her final days. Family graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, November 6th at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.
