Mr. Thayer Douglas Pease, 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the “Cottages” Winston County Medical Center Complex in Louisville, MS. Thayer was born March 21, 1969, in El Paso, TX, to Velma Betty and Thayer Herbert Pease. He was a graduate of Clint High School in Horizon City, TX. He was a chef whose career took him many places including working at the El Tovar Hotel at the Grand Canyon, Loew’s Hotel in Coronado, CA, and the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas for many years. He loved cooking and was a car enthusiast. He and his wife had been in Mississippi for about a year. He is survived by his wife, Maryann Costa, of Louisville, MS; a son, Matthew (Scarlett) Pease of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Stephanie (Stanton) Davi McNeely of New Orleans, LA; and Joanne (Mat) Davi Williams of Pittsburg, CA; and two grandsons, Dominic Ercolini and Jackson Davi Williams.
