Sybil Mayo Stevenson

Mrs. Sybil Mayo Stevenson, 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Dogwood Cottage at Winston County Nursing Home. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 18th, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Scott Phillips officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stevenson was born April 16, 1927, in Winston County to Jack and Mamie Eaves Mayo. She was a graduate of Ford High School, and worked as office manager at Sunflower Food Store for many years. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, David B. Stevenson. She is survived by her daughter, Gwynn Hall of Louisville; a sister, Betty Mayo of Philadelphia, MS; a brother, Bobby Mayo of Noxapater, one grandson, Chris Harris; and two great grandchildren, Paige Harris and Parker Harris. Memorials may be made to Women in the Church at First Presbyterian Church, Louisville, MS.
