Ruth Davis Young

Mrs. Ruth Davis Young passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019, in Spring, TX. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 18th, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Young was born April 24, 1931, in Louisville, MS, to Lula Mae and John Virgil Davis. She is survived by three daughters, Karen Ockershauser of Spring, TX, Sandra Stocks of Clear Lake, TX, and Charlotte Burns of Durango, CO. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Mae Byrd, and two brothers, LeRoy Davis and John Cecil Davis.
