Richard Dickerson, Jr.

Mr. Richard Jerl “Ricky” Dickerson, Jr. , 57, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at his home in Noxapater, MS.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 27th, at First Pentecostal Church in Noxapater, MS, Rev. Antoine Stokes officiating.   Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at First Pentecostal Church in Noxapater.   Interment will be in Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater.   Porter  Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ricky was born March 21, 1962 in Chicago, IL.   He was a self-employed carpenter.  He is survived by his parents, Ora Lee and Richard Dickerson; his brother, Dale (Carolyn) Dickerson of Louisville; a granddaughter, Madilynn Grace  Dickerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Justin Dickerson; and a brother, Tommy Dewayne Dickerson. Pallbearers will be James Burt, Brad Dickerson, John Dickerson, Tate Dickerson, Phillip Beddingfield, and David Quinn.
