Peggy McAdory

Mrs. Peggy Arnell Taggart McAdory, 77, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at her home in Louisville, MS. Graveside services and interment will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 26 th , at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mason Joy and Rev. Hubert Yates officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McAdory was born May 24, 1942, in Winston County, MS. She worked at Spartus for many years, and was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. “Bozo” McAdory; a son, James Edward “Eddie” McAdory, Jr.; her parents, Mary Annis  Pugh Taggart and John D. Taggart; and her brother, Billy Ray Taggart. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Cockrell and Charlotte McAdory; and one grandson, James Edward “Jamie” McAdory, III; and two great grandchildren, Jade & J. D. Chandler. Pallbearers are Derrick Hobson, Stacy Taggart, Michael Taggart, David Pugh, Mac McArthur, Ronnie Taylor, Jason Pugh, and Joey Johns.
