Mrs. Pearl Holton Robertson, 94, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 28th, at Vernon Assembly of God, with Rev. Eugene Duran, Rev. Gerald Brannum, and Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home, and on Saturday at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Vernon Assembly of God Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Robertson was born April 29, 1923, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and had worked at Spartus for several years. She was an avid gardener and was happiest while working in her flower beds, crocheting, or quilting. She was also very talented at ceramics and painting. She was a member of Vernon Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Eugene Robertson; a son, Dan Robertson, and her parents, Leona and Robert Henry Holton. She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn (Jack) Cox of Brandon, MS, Dianne (Dale) Mann of Ridgeland, MS, and Robin (Bill) Arnold of Pensacola Beach, FL; a son, Guy (Jackie) Robertson of Fresno, CA; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
