Melba "Billie" McAdory Standrod

Mrs. Melba “Billie” McAdory Standrod, 96, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 3rd, at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Noxapater, MS, with Rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Billie was born July 1, 1926, in Noxapater, MS. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Orval E. “Temus” McAdory, Calvin E. Flournoy, and John Standrod; her parents, Joseph and Mary Dalton Hicks; a son, James McAdory; four brothers, and seven sisters. She is survived by a son, Mike Flournoy of Felton, DE; two grandchildren, Sonya Logan and Michelle Flanders; two great grandchildren, Ellyse Logan and Willem Flanders; and one great great grandchild, Chloe Flanders. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church.
