Mrs. Mary Ella Goodin, 80, of Emmett, MI, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Lake Huron Medical Center, Port Huron. She was born April 1, 1939, in Butler Community, Noxubee County, MS, the daughter of the late R.W. and Pennsylvania (Vandevender) Clark. Her marriage of 57 beautiful years to Bennie Wilson Goodin was November 21, 1955. Bennie passed away November 29, 2012. Mary worked most of her time at the family owned and operated restaurant, Travis Hamburgers, at 14 1/2 Mile & Gratiot, Clinton Township. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, horse racing, casinos and her three dogs. Surviving are two children and spouses, Kathy and Joe McAdory, and Bennie Jr. and Lindsey Goodin; grandchildren, Nathan (Nicky) Smith, Jeremy and Simone Goodin, Buffy McAdory, Jody McAdory, and Lynn Betz; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Dominic, Kaleb, Lexi, Sky, and Draegan. She was preceded by a grandson, Jason McAdory and brother, Sammy Clark. The family honors the memory of Mary and invites you to visit and share memories Tuesday, March 10, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, and Thursday, March 12, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home, Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be at Porter Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Ricky Callaway, pastor of Laurel Hill Church, Philadelphia, will officiate. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Noxubee County, Mississippi.
