Margie Thweat Hubbard

Margie Thweatt Hubbard, age 96, formerly of Louisville passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at The Nichols Center in Madison. 

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home. 

Margie was born May 12, 1927, in Clarksdale, Mississippi.  She graduated from Clarksdale High School, and she was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Hubbard, and her brothers, James Thweatt and William Elroy Thweatt. 

Margie is survived by her children, Glenda Harrington of Biloxi, Debra Crowell (Darry) of Louisville, Sheila Perkins (Wayne) of Madison and Doug Hubbard (Kelly)of Lucedale; grandchildren Rob Jett, Ryan Jett (Lori), Marcee Messer (Cory), Jason Perkins (Brette), Lindsay Crowell, Abigail Hubbard, and Lilykate Hubbard , and her beloved great-grandchildren.
