Mr. Lawrence Livingston, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 10th, at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lundy and Rev. Ryan Farmer officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Livingston was born on March 20, 1939, in Louisville, MS. He was a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School, and was a boiler operator at Georgia Pacific for 33 years. He served in the Mississippi National Guard, and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Livingston; his parents, Ethel and Freeman Livingston; sisters, Jan Eaves and Lois Ward; and a brother, Bob Livingston; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kerr. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Penny (William) Young of Louisville; four grandchildren, Whitney Michelle Jenkins, Lacy (Cody) Howard, Blake Young, and Jack Young; three great grandchildren, Avery Claire Smith, Greyce Harris, and Addalyn Louise Howard; sisters-in-law, Doris McIntosh, Linda Mills, Sandra Fay Wiggins, and Cricket Livingston; and brothers-in-law, James (Doris) Smith, and Rabbit (Sue) Ward. Pallbearers will be Blake Young, Cody Howard, Quinn Hodge, Jim Eaves, Trevor Holdiness, and Cliff Luke. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Young and Tim Eaves. Memorials may be made to LeBonheur Childrens Hospital or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
