Mr. Larry Allen Lee, 71, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Garden Hills Personal Care Home in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 14th , at Porter Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mashulaville Baptist Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lee was born on September 18, 1948, in Noxubee County to the late Harold and Virginia Lee. He was a graduate of Macon High School and Mississippi State University, with a degree in accounting. He was a working partner of Harold Lee and Sons Lime in Macon and was in the National Guard Air Corp for many years. He enjoyed watching church, the news, bargain shopping, keeping up with politics, and dedicated himself to fixing anything that was broken. He loved working in his beautiful yard and his prized peach orchard. Some knew Larry as a solitary man and a man of few words, but he was a good-hearted soul, and he loved his parents and his siblings. He is going to be greatly missed. He is survived by his siblings, Donna (Albert) Wolfe of Ackerman, MS; Shirley Eaves of Columbus, MS; and Harold (Nan) Lee, Jr. of Louisville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ron Eaves, Wendell Eaves, Jeremy Eaves, Jonathan Wolfe, and Van Misso. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Assn, apdaparkinson.org.
