Lana Jo Roland

Lana Jo Roland, 46, passed away on Saturday, February 8 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 14th, at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Hank Dempsey officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Owens Chapel Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

 Lana was born October 15, 1978, in Houston, TX. She was a manager at the Dollar General store in Weir for several years. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Roland of McCool, MS; her parents Ronald Wilson and Vickie Wilson; daughter, Destiny Nichole Murray (Brad Bosie); her sons, Damon Tyler (Tabitha) Murray, Jesse Roland, Larry Roland, and William Cody Roland (Elizabeth); a sister, Keisha Jo-Lynn Calloway; a brother, Jason Wilson; and her grandchildren, Hanna Beth Roland, Emma Claire Roland, and Darcy Rose Murray.
