Mr. Johnny Earl Richardson, 60, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jay Watson and Mr. Willie Edmonds officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Welcome Chapel Church Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Johnny was born September 24, 1963, in Louisville, MS, to Jack Alton Richardson and Mary Frances Chambers Richardson. He was a graduate of Louisville High School, and was a machinist for Taylor Machine Works for 26 years. Johnny was an avid hunter, and loved spending time in the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Johns Richardson of Louisville; children, Kendra Johns, Leslie Lauren Richardson, Anna Frances Richardson, and Robert Johns, all of Louisville; a sister, Dale Richardson of Louisville, and six grandchildren, C. J. Hagan, Marlei Hagan, Trace Edwards, Ace Edwards, Austin Wayne Johnson, and Clayton Eli Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Pete Richardson, Tommy Ware, C. J. Hagan, Robert Johns, John Dempsey, B. J. Quinn, and Steve Allen.
Memorials in Johnny’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
