Mr. John Thomas Warner, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home in Louisville, MS. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, June 27th, at Murphy Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Johnny was born February 4, 1954 in Louisville, MS. He was a house builder, and worked at Mississippi State University as a Building Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mozell Cockrell Warner and C.B. Warner; and one sister, Jean McDill. Mr. Warner is survived by three sisters, Kendall (Marvin) Hemphill and Shirley McDill, both of Louisville, Ruby Jane Shorman of Waukegan, IL, and Dianne Coleman of Sturgis; and one brother, C. B. “Buddy” Warner, Jr. of Louisville. Pallbearers will be Tim McDill, Trey McDill, Danny Parks, Chris Hemphill, Elijah Hemphill, and John Zimmerman. Memorials may be made to the Murphy Creek Cemetery fund.
