Mrs. Joan Landrum Sullivan, 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Oak Cottage at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 20th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Wells and Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Joan was born May 23, 1937, in Louisville, MS. She was a secretary for Crawley Law Offices and a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Marlon Sullivan; her parents, Merle Lashley Winstead and Freeman Winstead; one sister, Lois Rhodes; and one brother, James Winstead. She is survived by her two daughters, Lesli Landrum and Jeana Neely, and one grandson, Josh Neely, all of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenny Sullivan, Johnny Sullivan, Joshua Neely, Kevin Hindman, Thomas Peterson, and Tommy Clark. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Ricky Richardson, Clint Eubank, Caleb Metts, David Clark, Craig Clark, and Jimbo Clark. The family would like to thank the staff at the Oak Cottage, Barbara Gay, Dr. Michael Ard, and Dr. Richard Guynes for their years of loving care and compassion.
