Jimmie Ted Watts, 80, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 20th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Stacy Parvin and Rev. Mike Dowd officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rural Hill Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Jimmie Ted was born February 14, 1942, in Louisville, MS. He was a fixture at the Winston County Nursing Home, having resided there since 1996, and he loved Dr. Pepper! He was a member of Rural Hill Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Essel Shumaker and Noel E. Watts; one sister, Dorcy Lawrence; and two brothers, Hayward Noel Watts and Wade Watts. He is survived by one sister, Clyde Dean Greene of Louisville; one brother, Allen (Sissie) Watts of Louisville; his lifelong friend, R.L. McCool of Louisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
