Jerry Easley

Mr. Jerry Easley, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 1st, at New Hope Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Easley was born February 4, 1935, in Winston County, MS. He was a graduate of Bond High School, and his family had a dairy farm for many years. He worked at Spartus for almost 20 years, and later worked as a surveyor in the oil industry in Texas. He was a Mason and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances McGahey Easley, and a brother, Bobby Easley. Jerry is survived by two sons, Nelson Easley, and Chris (Mary) Easley; a sister, Yvette Daffron; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Cemetery Fund.
