Mrs. Hazel White Ward, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the Beehive Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 25th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Visitation will be at Porter Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Hazel was born October 19, 1935, in Louisville, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. She spent almost 35 years milking cows with her husband on their farm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Ward; her parents, Hazel Crowell White and Henry Lee White; and one sister, Mary White. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Mike) Smith of Louisville, MS and Jenny (Dan) Hogan of Cumming, GA; one son, Danny (Terressa) Ward of Louisville, MS; two brothers, John H. (Louise) White of Louisville and Jerry (Mickie) White of Morganton, NC; seven grandchildren, Josh (Ginger) Ward, Brett (Kellye) Smith, Jolie (Jonathan) Eaves, Stan Smith, Zachary Hogan, Chandler Hogan, and Danielle (Patrick) Cook; and three great grandchildren, Chandler Foster, Dawson Eaves, and Hayze Eaves. Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, William Strait, Phil Caldwell, Michael Ming, Taylor Tucker, and Freddy Fulcher.
