Gerald "Skip" Weaver

Mr. Gerald Cecil “Skip” Weaver, 82, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home in Louisville, MS. Gerald was born November 13, 1939 in Laurel, MS to Margaret Weaver and Robert Franklin Weaver, Sr. He attended both Mississippi State University and Louisiana Tech, and retired from Georgia Pacific. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Laura Faye Grantham Weaver of Louisville, MS; two daughters, Junicha Gordon of McCool, MS, and Cossondra George of Newberry, MI; one sister, Frances W. Holden of Dothan, AL; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Citizens Advisory Board, c/o Winston County Sheriff’s Office, 136 S. Court Ave, Louisville, MS 39339 .
