Mrs. Eva Hughey Clark, 76, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Dogwood Cottage at Winston County Nursing Home. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 14th, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clark was born October 7, 1944, in Ripley, MS. She graduated from Port Gibson High School and cosmetology school in Vicksburg, MS. She and Ralph moved to Louisville in 1967, and Eva worked as a cosmetologist for many years. She was a member of First Methodist Church. Eva was devoted to her family, and was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Luther Hughey; and a brother, Victor Hughey. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Clark; a daughter, Kristie Clark Day of Jackson, MS; two sisters, Ima Tivnan of Ripley, MS, and Grape Cain of Port Gibson, MS; a brother, James Hughey of Nashville, TN; and two grandchildren, Ethan Day and Summer Day. Pallbearers will be Danny Wright, Jamie Cain, Ryan Strawbridge, Victor Rushing, Taylor Rushing, and Colby Rushing. Memorials may be made to First Methodist Church, P. O.
