Doris Ruth Kemp

Mrs. Doris Ruth Kemp, 91, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at her home in Louisville, MS. Memorial services will be held at a later date.    Mrs. Kemp was born April 24, 1927, in Winston County, Mississippi. She was an office manager for Kemp Electric, and a member of Whitehall United Methodist Church. She graduated from the Ford School, and was a member of the Garden Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vardaman Kemp; her parents, Myrtis Smith Triplett and Vivian O. Triplett; one son, Jimmy Kemp; two sisters, Glennie Wade and Ossie Mae Triplett; and two brothers, Vernon Triplett and Travis Triplett. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Allen of Noxapater; one son, Evan Kemp of Louisville; one granddaughter, Jenny Rukas of Noxapater; one great grandchild, Shelby Payne of Slidell, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
