Darlyne Livingston Culwell

Mrs. Peggy Darlyne Culwell, 79, passed away on June 1, 2020, at her home in Louisville after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 3rd, at Betheden Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Culwell was born December 8, 1940, in Louisville. She was a 1959 graduate of Louisville High School, and drove a school bus for over 25 years with the Louisville school system. She loved farming with her husband, Wayne, and enjoying being outside in her flower garden. She was a faithful member of Flower Ridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Culwell; a son, DeWayne Culwell; her parents, Pete and Mildred Clearman Livingston; and her sister, Kaye McDaniel. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Randy) Skinner of Union, MS, and Kathy (Paul) McBrayer of Louisville; grandchildren, Kelly (Scott) Hayman, and Kyle Skinner; and two great grandchildren, Hadley and Taylor Hayman. The Culwell family would like to thank Darlyne’s caregivers, Glenda Edwards and Annie Lovorn, and Encompass Hospice of Columbus, for the excellent care they gave Darlyne during her final days.
