Cecil O. Price, Jr.

Mr. Cecil O. Price, Jr., 61, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 24th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mason Joy officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Noxapater. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Cecil was born September 30, 1957, in Neshoba County, MS. He was a graduate of Noxapater High School, East Central Community College, attended the University of Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration.   Cecil previously worked for U. S. Motors, and had worked with Clark Beverage Company since 1984 as a route manager. Cecil loved the outdoors, and was especially fond of hunting, fishing, cooking, and was an avid follower of Mississippi State sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Helen Jones Price and Cecil O. Price, Sr.; his sister, Linda Joyce Price; and his brother, Robert Price. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Cockrell Price of Louisville; his daughter, Anna Price of Starkville, MS; and his son, Clark Price of Memphis, TN. Pallbearers will be Bill Weeks, Chris House, Steve Fondren, Marc Shows, Douglas Murray, Jacob Fulton, Bill Heinick, and David Humphries. Memorials may be made to the Mt.
