Mrs. Carolyn Ann Puckett Palmer, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 17th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. David Keen officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Ellison Ridge Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Carolyn was born September 15, 1956, in Norfolk, VA, to Isabel Hastings Puckett and John Kellis Puckett. She was a 1974 graduate of Louisville High School, and a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church. She had worked in retail for many years at Piggly Wiggly and Jerry’s Flowers and Gifts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Gene Palmer; her parents; her in-laws, Kerney and Virgie Palmer; one nephew, Caleb Fuller Puckett; and one niece, Alaina Puckett. She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Shawn) White; her granddaughter, Isabella Grace White; four brothers, John (Glenda) Puckett, Steve Puckett, Joe (Amanda) Puckett, and Jimmy (Norma) Puckett; a special friend, Robby Fuller and his children, Heather Fuller, Robby (Brandy) Fuller, and Bryan (Kalyn) Fuller; and grandchildren, Jacey Fuller, Gracyn Fuller, Anna-Alice Fuller, Anslee Fuller, Manny Romedy, and Rod Romedy; and nieces and nephews, Aaron Puckett, Laura Hodge, Daniel Puckett, Courtney Shaw, Caitlin Puckett, and Carly Puckett. Pallbearers will be Aaron Puckett, Jeremy Hodge, Trey Shaw, Daniel Puckett, Robby Fuller, Odie Keen, and Mark Sullivan. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Ellison Ridge Cemetery fund.
