Mrs. Barbara Louise Livingston, 70, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Graveside services and interment will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 1st, at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Livingston was born on August 31, 1949, in Louisville, MS. She was a 1967 graduate of Nanih Waiya High School. She began her working career at Louisville Pants Factory, and later worked at TRW, and Richardson Molding in Philadelphia, MS. Most recently, she was a K4 teacher at Tot Spot in Nanih Waiya. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and was proud to be an organ donor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and A. Z. Smith; and a sister, Dorothy Kerr. Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Livingston; a daughter, Penny (William) Young of Louisville; three sisters, Doris Jean McIntosh of Melrose, FL, Linda Mills, and Sandra Fay Wiggins, both of Louisville; a brother, James Howard Smith of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Whitney Michelle Jenkins, Lacy (Cody) Howard, Blake Young, and Jack Young; and two great grandchildren, Greyce Harris and Avery Claire Smith. Pallbearers will be Blake Young, Cody Howard, Jim Eaves, Cody Warren, Braxton Stokes, and Quinn Hodge. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Young and Tim Eaves. Memorials may be made to LeBonheur Childrens Hospital or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
