Annetta Ruth Hindman

Mrs. Annetta Ruth Hunt Hindman, 74, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her home in Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Mr. Chris Brown officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bevill Hill Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Annetta was born January 17, 1948, in Memphis, TN, to Virginia Ophelia Irby Hunt and Cecil Kennedy Hunt. She was a librarian at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis for many years, and most recently was a member of Hibernia Baptist Church in Fleming Island, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Hindman; and her brother, Steve Hunt. She is survived by four children, Angela (Chris) Brown of Fleming Island, FL, Ashlie (Paul) Emerson of Millington, TN, Christopher Paul Hindman and Craig Kennedy Hindman, both of Orange Park, FL; two sisters, Joyce (Larry) Fulton of Brandon, MS and Candace (Frank) Piccolo of Kenefick, TX; twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frank Piccolo, Larry Fulton, Noah Garcia, Aaron Marroletti, and Bear Brown. Memorials may be made to The Gideons.
