Louise Elizabeth Lawrence

Mrs. Louise Lawrence, 85, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at Winston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 6th, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Lawrence was born August 5, 1925, in Winston County, MS, the daughter of Rubye Lewis and William Oscar Pittman. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Carter Kemp. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lawrence, and a daughter, Linda Kemp. She is survived by a son, Dwayne (Deborah) Lawrence of Providence, RI; three grandchildren, William Christopher Kemp, Elizabeth Caroline Lawrence, and Melissa Lawrence Scales; and one great grandchild, Ailsa Skye Carmisciano.
