Clarence "Bud" Adcock

Mr. Clarence C. “Bud” Adcock, 81, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 14th, at First Apostolic Church, with Rev. Burlon Commer, Rev. Fred Frazier, Rev. Allen Eaves, Rev. Michael Halfacre, and Rev. Granville Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Adcock was born May 10, 1929, in Winston County. He was retired from Dixie Wholesale Waterworks and was a member of First Apostolic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Adcock. He is survived by a son, Harold (Patricia) Adcock of Louisville; two daughters, Dianne Adcock of Louisville, and Janie (Benny) Yarbrough of Columbus, MS; two sisters, Rita Groner of Pearl, MS, and Glenda Kemp of Louisville; and 5 grandchildren, Amy Yarbrough, Jennifer Yarbrough, Matthew Yarbrough, Sandy (Jason) McArthur, and Amanda Adcock. Memorials may be made to First Apostolic Church, for Amanda Adcock Missions.
