Jean Fancher Smith

Mrs. Jean Fancher Smith, 82, died Friday, May 21, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, May 23rd, at Betheden Cemetery, with Rev. Arthur Story and Rev. Billy Bowie officiating. Interment will be in Betheden Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born April 23, 1928, in Columbus, MS. She was a Registered Nurse, and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the adult choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Smith. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth “Frankie” McKenzie of Louisville; and a brother, Fant G. Fancher of Edwards, MS. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O.
