Shirley Mae Pruitt

Mrs. Shirley Mae Hemphill Pruitt, 59, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 1st, at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Pruitt was born May 11, 1950, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired realtor and lived for many years in Monterey, CA. She is survived by her daughter, Scarlett (Grover) Sanschagrin of San Francisco, CA; her father, James Hemphill of Macon; two sisters, Rita Hall of Mashulaville, MS, and Marlene Lentz of Hazel Park, MI; and a brother, Johnny Hemphill of Louisville, and a special friend and caretaker, Mike Sennett.
