Elizabeth Jean McDill

Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Warner McDill, 85, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Timothy McDill officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McDill was born May 4, 1932 in Louisville, MS. She was retired from TRW, and a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, David William McDill; one grandson, David Shane Parks; and her parents, Mozell Cockrell Warner and C.B. Warner. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Danny) Parks of Louisville, MS, and Brenda Kay (Larry) Wood of Ackerman, MS; sisters, Sherley McDill of Fort Worth, Texas, Kendall Hemphill of Louisville, Ruby Jane Shorman of Waukegan, IL, and Dianne Coleman of Sturgis, MS; brothers, Buddy Warner and Johnny Warner both of Louisville; four grandchildren, Ryan Parks, Glenda Jean Johnson, Melissa Carol Wood, and William Douglas Wood; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
