Mrs. Ora Mae McAdory, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 8th, at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathan Peeples officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. McAdory was born June 11, 1938, in Louisville, MS. She was the dietary manager at Winston Medical Center for 28 years, and later served as the dorm supervisor at Jackson Hall at East Central Community College. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Sam” McAdory; her parents, Sally and Mike Prisock; a grandson, Khristopher McAdory; a great grandson, Phillip Haynes, and three sisters, Frances Joyce Prisock, Joaquin Chambliss, and Walterine Goodin Hall. Mrs, McAdory is survived by three sons, Paul McAdory (Kris), Jim McAdory (Susan), both of Louisville; and Charles McAdory (Sandra) of Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren, David McAdory, Jon McAdory, Cortney McAdory, Bryan McAdory, and Brandi Johnson (Jesse); and four great grandsons, Cameron Johnson (Christa), Noxapater Johnson, Beauregard Johnson, and Jericho Johnson. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
