Don Chancellor

Mr. Donald Eugene “Don” Chancellor, 65, passed away Wednesday, December, 27, 2017, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 30th at Wess Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Yates and Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Interment will be in Betheden Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Wess Chapel Baptist Church. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Don was born May 22, 1952 in Winston County. He was co-owner of Chancellor Brothers Construction, and a member of Wess Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was known throughout the community as an avid hunter and horseman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen White Chancellor and Marcus Chancellor; and his sister, Beverly Clark. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Eaves Chancellor; two sons, Bart (Cassi) Chancellor and Clay (Sara) Chancellor; his brother, Mike (Henrietta) Chancellor; three grandchildren, Will Chancellor, Ava Chancellor, and Mary Clayton Chancellor, all of Louisville. The family would like to thank Don’s very special caregiver, Linda Mills. Pallbearers will be Lanny Wright, Billy Ward, David Jowers, James Higgason, Johnny Moorhead, Chris Crowson, and Joey Patridge. Memorials may be made to the Blair E.
