Dolores Hardy

Mrs. Dolores LaMotte Hardy, 85, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mason Joy officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Dolores was born January 2, 1932, in Coello, Illinois. She was a homemaker, and a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hardy; one grandson, Tim Coleman, Jr.; and her parents, Alice Young LaMotte and Leo LaMotte. She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Markham of Gainesville, FL, Kathleen Oldham of Louisville, and Lorraine Coleman of Louisville; two sons, Jeffrey (Donna) Hardy of Columbia, TN, and David (Louann) Hardy of Virginia Beach, VA; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hardy, Jon Hardy, Brian Weaver, Earl Coleman, Wayne Joiner, and Eric Oldham. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
