Harold "Jack" Lee, Sr.

Mr. Harold “Jack” Lee, Sr., 93, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 10, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Gerald Butler and Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mashulaville Baptist Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lee was born April 3, 1924, in Mashulaville, MS. He retired after many years in the trucking industry. He was an Army Veteran of World War II where he earned a Purple Heart, and a member of Mashulaville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Holdiness Lee; two sisters, Joy Misso and Hazel Misso; one brother, W.S. Lee; and his parents, Lora Coalson Lee and Warren Lee. He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Eaves of Columbus, MS, and Donna (Albert) Wolfe of Starkville, MS; two sons, Harold (Nan) Lee, Jr. of Louisville, MS, and Larry Allen Lee of Columbus, MS.; 7 grandchildren, Wendell Eaves, Ron Eaves, Patrick Lee, Jonathan Wolfe, Melissa Montgomery, Cameron Whitehead, and Amber Yates; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wendell Eaves, Ron Eaves, Jeremy Eaves, Taylor Eaves, Justin Yates, Mitch Whitehead, Patrick Lee, and Jonathan Wolfe.
