Mrs. Frances Hamm Quinn, 84, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Meridian, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Hill and Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Quinn was born January 21, 1932 in Louisville, MS. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Dr. David Wilson, Dr. S.W. Pearson, and Dr. A.B. Howard, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, L.B. Quinn and Marvin Cole; her parents, Ada Richardson Hamm and Aljernon Hamm; three sisters, Madge Brumfield, Lorene Dees, and Elizabeth Hamm; and four brothers, Marion Hamm, Donald Hamm, Fred Hamm, and J.E. Hamm. She is survived by her daughters Vickie Hatten of Tickfaw, LA, and Betty (Wesley) Landrum of Meridian, MS; her step-daughter, Mary Coletti (Kelly) Barnett of Florence, TX; her son, Billy J. Quinn of Fort Worth, TX; a sister, Allene Peters of Louisville, MS; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Quinn Hatten, Will Quinn, David Landrum, Brad Landrum, Ronnie Hamm, and Kevin Hamm. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
