Mrs. Virginia Marie McConocha, 99, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Louisville, MS. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27th, at Liberty Universalist Church. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McConocha was born December 22, 1916, in Columbus, OH. She was a retired receptionist at South Port Square, Senior Living in Port Charlotte, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl McConocha; and her parents, Helen Wiley Ashley and George Ashley. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Myers of Louisville, MS, and Jacqueline King of Lyndhurst, OH; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
