Kendall Price

Mr. Kendall Hall Price, 75, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 24th, at Whitehall United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Dowd and Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rural Hill Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Price was born November 9, 1939, in Louisville, MS. He was retired from the shipping department at Spartus Corp, and as a bus driver for handicapped children with the Louisville Municipal School District. He was a member of Rural Hill United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Price; and his parents, Laler and Flay Price. Kendall is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Joy Price of Ridgeland, MS; a son Kenny Hall Price of Bastrop, LA; and a sister, Elizabeth Bennett of Tupelo, MS. Pallbearers are Ben Tripp, Harry Benard Tabor, Jimmy Clyde Dempsey, Cliff Price, Tim Price, and Robert McCool. Honorary pallbearers are Don Shumaker, Charles Miller, and Garvin Whitten. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
