Mrs. Ann Ray Chandler, 72, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Choctaw County Medical Center in Ackerman, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 1st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Poplar Flat Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ann was born May 20, 1942, in Kosciusko, MS. She was a graduate of Kosciusko High School. She was a retired business owner, having owned and operated several businesses including Tommy’s Trading Post, Ann’s Jeans & Things, and Hwy 12 Mart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elba and Robert Love; and a sister, Mary Lee Grissom. She is survived by her husband, Robert Randal Chandler of Louisville; her daughters, Rachel Ann Burns of Kosciusko, MS and Sonya Ray Diaddigo of Dacula, GA; her son, Charles Mack Ray, Jr. of Philadelphia, MS; a brother, Mike Love of Tupelo; grandchildren, David Allan Burns, Cody Ray Burns, Taylor Lee Stringfield, Jordan Ansley Stringfield, Tyler White, Hunner Ray, Chase Ray, Gavin Ray, and Makayla Ray; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Tyler White, Cody Ray Burns, Larry Burns, Hunter Ray, Chase Ray, and John Diaddigo.
