Bryant Bronell Bradford, Jr.

Bryant Bronell Bradford Jr., beloved husband, father, PaPa and brother passed from this world on October 7th, 2014 surrounded by loved ones at his home in Baton Rouge, LA. Born November 24th, 1942 in Laurel, Mississippi, "Brad" was a long time resident of Baton Rouge. Brad retired in 1992 after 30 years of employment with Dow Chemical USA. He will be remembered for his love of family, strength of character, and quiet words of wisdom. Bryant is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Ann Barker Bradford, his children Dorothy Denise Bradford, Stacey Bradford Betz and husband Christopher Betz, Bryant "Trey" Bradford III and wife Anne Marie Stockstill Bradford; his six grandchildren Danielle Betz Crowder and husband Steven Hunter Crowder, Kyle Betz, Joshua Vaughn, Caroline Bradford, Claudia Bradford, and William Bradford and two sisters Barbara Bradford DeLoach and Judy Bradford Tranum. Bryant is preceded in death by his parents, Bryant Bronell Bradford Sr. and Inez Woodruff Bradford. Religious services were held at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Baton Rouge on October 16th, 2014. Visitation will be held April 25, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home, followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the McMain's Children's Development Center, St. Judes Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
