Jimmy Don Smith

Mr. Jimmy Don Smith, 49, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at his home in Noxapater, MS. Funeral services will be held at11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 6th, at Hight Assembly of God, with Rev. Tom Bentley and Rev. Jim Mannon officiating. Interment will be in Hight Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Smith was born April 6, 1965, in Chicago, IL. He was a farmer and a mechanic, and owner of Smith & Smith Farms. Jimmy Don also attended Hight Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Renee Parker Smith; his parents, Garland and Geraldine Smith of Noxapater; two daughters, Chasidy Brook Smith and Morgan Hope Smith, of Noxapater, MS; his son, Trent Smith of Birmingham, AL; and his brother, Wayne (Michealanne) Smith of Louisville. Pallbearers will be John Swindle, Ken Drury, Corey Jordan, Hank Powell, Haley Moody, and Rusty Suttle. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Quinn and Jessie Spears. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
