Mrs. Janice Diane Bowie, 61, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Orange Beach, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 31st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. Porter Funeral Home of Louisville is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bowie was born December 8, 1953, in Greenwood, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mathiston Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bowie; and her parents, Pauline Gammill and John Arnold. She is survived by two daughters, Amanda (Tim) Rogers of Orange Beach, AL, and Kimberley (Ed) Casper of Wichita, Kansas; a son, Liddell (Cynthia) Carithers of Orange Beach, AL; a sister, Tonya Avent of Cumberland, MS; three brothers, Donald Arnold of Greenwood, MS, and David Gammill and Darrell Gammill, both of Nashville, TN; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
