Mrs. Odell Collier Frazier, 79, died Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 12th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Frazier was born February 20, 1935, in Louisville, MS. She was a faithful member of Evergreen Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was very active in all areas of ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran Frazier; and her parents, Ora & Charlie Buck Collier. She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Craig) Foster of Louisville, MS, and Patty (Matt) Jensen of Madison, MS; two sons, Alan Frazier of Anchorage, AK, and Dr. Steve Frazier of Cedar Falls, IA; one sister, Mary McKinley of Kokomo, IN; seven grandchildren, Jason Walton, Laura Maxey, Phillip Foster, Chris Joiner, Kimberly Rogers, Ross Jensen, and James Frazier; and three great grandchildren, Carson Joiner, Wren Rogers, and Lilly Walton. Pallbearers will be Phillip Foster, Chris Joiner, Ross Jensen, Kenny Collier, Keith Collier, and Kenny Green. Memorials may be made to Palmer Home for Children, or Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church cemetery fund, c/o Mark Gillis, 220 Crowson Rd. Sturgis, MS 39769.
