Norma Haggard Parks

Mrs. Norma Haggard Parks, 90, died Friday, October 3, 2014 in Carthage, MS. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 5th at Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev. David Keen officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Perkinsville Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Parks was born December 17, 1923, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar William Parks; and her parents, Maggie and Walter Haggard. She is survived by a daughter, Diane (Doug) Coleman of Macon, MS; three sons, Donald (Margaret) Parks of Louisville, Danny (Carolyn) Parks of Louisville, and David Parks of Macon; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Hudspeth, Jacey Bullock, Chad Parks, and Ryan Parks; 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
