Mr. Charles Mack Ray, Sr., 72, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM on Thursday, July 3rd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Interment will be in Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. MS. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ray was born March 8, 1942, in Kosciusko, MS. He was a self-employed business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Virginia Massey Ray and Arthur Allen Ray, Sr.; and two brothers, Arthur Allen Ray, Jr. and Aaron Ray. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Ray of Louisville, MS; his daughters, Rachel Ann Burns of Kosciusko, MS and Sonya Ray Diaddigo of Dacula, GA; his son, Charles Mack Ray, Jr. of Philadelphia, MS; his step-daughters, Debbie Lysaker of Tampa, FL and Susan Evans of Louisville, MS; step-sons, James Kirk of Louisville, MS and Michael Kirk of Tupelo, MS; one brother, Vernon Ray of Kosciusko, MS; grandchildren, David Allan Burns, Cody Ray Burns, Taylor Lee Stringfield, Jordan Ansley Stringfield, Tyler White, Hunner Ray, Chase Ray, Gavin Ray, and Makayla Ray; step-grandchildren, Truitt Kirk, Dana Sullivan, Taylor Evans, Joah Evans, and Wendy Rogers; and step-great grandchildren, Jazzelyn & Harley Kirk, and Nick, Carley, & Wade Sullivan.
