Mr. William Dean Huntley, Sr., 72, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 8th, at Campground United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Huntley was born August 20, 1941. He was a self-employed electrician, a Navy Veteran, and a member of Campground United Methodist Church. Mr. Huntley was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Huntley; and his parents, Mary Horton Huntley and Champlin Clark Huntley, Jr. He is survived by his sons, William Michael (Teressa) Huntley of Flowood, MS, William Dean (Danelle) Huntley, Jr. of Louisville, MS, and Joseph Clark (Claire) Huntley of Vicksburg, MS; his daughter, Teresa Frazier of Alabama; two sisters, Martha Fleming of Louisville, MS, and Brenda Petro of Mandeville, LA; one brother, Jimmy C. Huntley of Louisville, MS; 6 grandchildren, Stephen Huntley, Dillon Huntley, Will Huntley, Daniel Huntley, Hannah Huntley, and Josie Huntley; and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cully Hudspeth, Lee Fleming, Justin Huntley, James Hall, Danny Whitman, and Casey Sisson. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Sisson, Therrell Files, Jerry Webb, Bubba Hudspeth, and Jake Holdiness. Memorials may be made to Campground United Methodist Church.
