Elizabeth Hollis Eaves

Mrs. Elizabeth Hollis Eaves, 63, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at her home in Union, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 1st, at Porter Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.     Mrs. Eaves was born June 20, 1950, in Louisville, MS. She was a retired retail manager, and a member of Crystal Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton & Margaret Hollis; two sisters, Sylvia Hollis and Amy Hollis; and one brother, George Johnson.   She is survived by her sons, Wendell Eaves and Phillip Eaves, both of Gautier, MS; three sisters, Cora Lee Howard of Union, MS, Wanda Guess of Baton Rouge, LA, and Barbara Self of Mount Pleasant, TX; one brother, Donnie Hollis of Louisville, MS; and 3 grandchildren, Leslie Eaves, Dylan Eaves, and Austin Prestage.   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the American Diabetes Association.
