Mrs. Jimmie Henley Hill, 100, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Brandon Court in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 12th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 PM until service time. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hill was born September 20, 1913, in Webster County, MS. She was a homemaker and the widow of Emmett F. Hill. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Judith Lynn Hill and Mary Hill Wallace; her parents, Mary Sanders and James Henley; and two sisters, Irin Stafford and Oma Durrough. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Franklin Hill of Spanish Fort, AL; a daughter, Ann H. Smoak of Isle of Palms, SC; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wesley Emmett Smoak, Wilson E. Smoak III, Jim Hill, Jimmy Wallace, Jordan Turner, and Greylan Smoak.
